How to Add buySAFE to Your Yahoo Store
I recently added buySAFE to my Yahoo Store and had a rough time trying to get it setup properly but finally figured it out. Apparently the folks over at buySAFE are no help at all when it comes to doing a Yahoo Store so I am going to show you how to easily get it done so you don't have to go thru the same headaches I did. Basically just follow their directions and then once you have that done, come on back here and double check it with these.
I suggest you leave this page open and bring up your Yahoo Store in a separate window to make following along a little easier.
These directions are specifically for those Yahoo Store designers that use the Store Editor to create and maintain their sites. If you use Yahoo Hosting and Store Tags, the directions from the buySAFE website should be fine.
Store Editor Users:
1. Access your Yahoo Store
2. Click Checkout Manager under the Order Settings Tab
3. Click Page Configuration
4. Click the Order Confirmation tab (see image below)
5. Scroll down the page to the Page Message section (see image below)
![]()
6. Copy and paste the buySAFE Widget code into the Page Message field - which will look something like this… (see image below)
![]()
7. Click Save
8. Go back to Store Manager and Publish your changes
9. Now go back to the buySAFE website and login with your username and password
10. Goto Test / Setup and click Setup
11. Click on the Widget Wizard tab
12. At Step 2, enter this, sectionId=ysco\.confirm (see image below)
![]()
13. Click Save
14. Now goto the Test Store Tab
15. Scroll down to Step 4 and enter, sectionId=ysco\.confirm in the Confirm Page box
![]()
17. Click Save
Thats it! You should now be setup properly and the buySAFE widget should be showing up for your shoppers.
